CURTISS Warhawk (11-4112)

Sunning herself in the morning sun with hangar doors open wide, was too much for me not to stop, and say hello to Judy Paye's P-40F Warhawk at Tyabb Aerodrome, south east of Melbourne. With engine cowl covers off, there was many interesting mechanical items to take in, and photograph. Just as I was framing the large engine into a suitable photo, a local C172 flew past, having just got airborne off the runway.
