Yes Mr Brown that plane is a water bomber of the Canadian company Canadair it's a CL-415.
Yes, the new Super Scooper fighting the Kyburz Fire last summer from Union Valley Reservoir near Placerville CA. The boats on the lake were getting a little too close. I was taking a nap and this thing woke me up at my campsite it was really awesome to watch
Reminds me a lot of the Grumman Albatross
