I wonder in the long run which Boeing and Lockheed both were against repair will work on these two different AC in the long run.
It might seem fine but to the manufacture it is a big liability issue nothing more nothing less. When you are dealing with AC anything you do to them could change many other things down the road. Guess pilots are expendable.
