Beechcraft 18 (N499C)
Loading up and headed out for vacation in the early 1970's.

Wow, living in luxury! A Pinto Wagon and a Beach 18! Cool shot.
I got stick time in both a tail wheel and tricycle but was only 16yo
When I first started flying that aircraft it was still in an “Executive” configuration with a pretty decent interior. Several years later the King-Air we acquired took over the Executive flying and N499C was used primarily for cargo for the next 6 or 7 years. The interior didn’t get too beat up and was still in reasonably good shape when I left the company for another flying job.
I flew that airplane literally all over the country with some very expensive, time critical, cargo. What a great time to be a 20 something pilot.

Great Book, "I'll take the 18" about flying cargo in the Beech
