After many years of being stuck on terra firma for a lengthy maintenance project, Texas Raiders finally returned to flight at KHOU on Wednesday, October 14th, 2009!

This is not a B-29 Superfortress. THis is a B-17G Flying Fortress
N7227C 1944 B-17G-95-DL. The Commemorative Air Force’s Gulf Coast Wing "Texas Raiders" group maintains and flies the aircraft.
