This is a great picture - lots of detail. I don't know too much about the construction or painting of airplanes, but it looks like there is a "seam" on the left of center along the fuselage - it looks dirty or rusty? What is going on there?
maybe her age 18+ years - wear & tear ...
Karl-skin laps and production joints are where the paint tends to fail first. Normal wear and tear due to weather extremes, washing, pressurization cycles.
