Grumman Tr2 —

I spotted this aircraft on Saturday, 17-Feb-2018, at about 1234HrsEST, over Wayne, NJ. Given its heading at the time, it may have been headed for KCDW or KMMU.

With expertise provided by the FlightAware community it was identified as a Grumman American AA-1. Although painted as a US Navy Training aircraft, it was never used as such, either past or present.
