This B17 came out of the blue when I was coming into Naples last November (07). I was shooting for an Audi dealer, but diverted to the airport. There she was, still warm. On a 2 day display with the second day available for 30 minutes flights !! I met these two Great American Heroes looking over the ship. They used to fly them !! I always had a hero worship deal with these B17 pilots. We chatted and I had to take this shot. These guy's are the BEST!!!!! They were acting like the 19 year olds they were when they were flying these. Can you even IMAGINE the average 19 year old today doing this???? Me neither!!
