Boeing 737 MAX 8 (N1776R)

I made certain I was in time to get some snaps of it here in Reno by arriving at the airport at 5:15 AM. I think it would have looked brighter if the sun had been out but there were thin clouds to the east that kept the sunlight from lighting up the airport grounds. (I already had photos of it from several weeks ago when it made one of its countless visits to Sacramento which is just a few minutes west of here but since this was its first visit to Reno and RNO is my primary stomping ground I decided to get a shot of it here.)

This shot is postcard worthy. Great plane with a beautiful background!

Is that an EU flag on the engine?

This is a nice livery. Still, to bad about the brand name on the tail.

Cherokee >> I don't think SW can be criticized too much for putting their company name on a jet they own and paid to paint. And they did put the name in white so it does match the R, W, and B livery colors. After all, they might have painted it in huge GOLD letters like on N757AF. (grin)

TY, John. I have no doubt your pic will glow if you can get a capture of this on a bright Indy day. Even if the sun had not been behind some thin early AM clouds here, I think the shot would still have been somewhat dull because there was also some wildfire smoke hanging over the Truckee Meadows and that smoke also diminished the sunlight.
