4 engines? I'll bet that was a little loud, but it worked. Looking at today's cavernous engines, at least engineers could make a larger engine rather than having to add more engines. The Spruce Goose had 8. *shrug*

I miss flying in the 727's. A bygone era in air travel. Running bigger planes into areas not swarming with mosquitoesque RJ's. *sigh*
