Long live the Coronado. Too bad the airlines could not sell the buyers of airline tickets on her speed and beauty. Now the B-737 and A-320 have taken over the skies instead.

990 feet per second at cruise!! Thanks to the civilian version of the GE J79 engines that powered F-4's and B-58's!! Airlines retired them when fuel became expensive! Best regards also, Jose!

Thank you very much for all of you in the comments of this incredible aircraft, unfortunately until today the aviation industry had to choose size instead of speed. I particularly believe in speed, because we change the dirigibles by aircraft and so it will continue I'm sure.
