McDonnell Douglas MD-82 (N426NV)

A little sentimental post this evening November 25th. Wednesday is the last revenue service day for Allegiant's MD-80 fleet. While I never flew on an 80 belonging to Allegiant, I've put many hours in aboard AA MD-80s. Sad to see these graceful "Mad Dogs" go. This departure from DAL was my only opportunity to photograph and Allegiant MD-80. I feel quite lucky to have caught it. This MD-82 was delivered to SAS in 1987. Enjoy your retirement Mad Dog!
