N77EV — - This is an evening landing of a Revo at Clearwater Airpark, Clearwater, Florida, USA. This is a Light Sport aircraft. A short time after I took this photo I flew it with its owner Dane Hauser (sky-surfing.com) out to the Clearwater Beach area (29 May 2016) for an evening joyride. Clearwater Beach is considered one of the top United States vacation destinations. A ride in this plane and the views make this area my top choice also. br /br /The plane was fast and agile. It cruised at about 110 mph, approach for landing at about 75, wheels squeaked at about 50 mph. The controls were responsive and light and it trimmed hands-free at cruise in level flight. The Rotax with a pusher prop supplied plenty of power. It took off quickly and climbed with authority. It completely demolished my former negative thoughts about "hang gliders" and how you needed to be a skinny olympic athlete to fly them. Dane and I each weighed about 200 lbs+ and the plane zipped into the sky effortlessly. It was a joy to fly. I cant wait to tell the Honey I want one, no, NEED ONE!
