Cessna 400 (N2522F) - Racing a line of T-storms back to VKX (white +)on an IFR flight plan. We are the white plane in the middle of the display. Although we could not fly our assigned route (IRONS 4 Arrival, in white) we were in VFR conditions with a good visual on that mountain range of storms to our left moving in our direction. I was not nervous since we had a good escape route to the east. With a ground speed of 219 kts, we beat in in with time to spare but got hammered as we pushed the plane into the hanger.
