Thanks. I typed the registration to the FAA website, and it came up with some hot air balloon.

Next step for Amazon: buy the Frankfurt-Hahn airport in Germany as a shipping base for its large distribution center in nearby Koblenz. Amazon has been in and out of negotiations to buy this previous US Air Force base for some time now.

That's the main hub for Atlas Air military charter flights to/from the US & Middle East.

Another innumerate journalist: "The launch came as it emerged that earlier this week Amazon chief Jim Bezos sold a million shares in the company, increasing his wealth by $755m, adding to the almost $60bn he is worth"

His net worth didn't change when he converted one type of asset (stocks) into another (cash). Jeez. Or it could be that the stock was worthless, and he got some sucker to give him $755m for it. Yeah, that's the ticket!

Unless they were options... aren't options "worthless" until you cash them out? I know they're not taxed as assets, so I wouldn't think they'd be counted as part of net worth either.

We're so blind in this country now, especially when it comes to things like that. Cognitive Dissonance, and just plain ignorance or naivete.
EYE can't believe that we need to let someone HAVE $60 Billion!!!
As long as it gets my 2 day to me, I don't care I guess. Sigh.....
