2nd Southwest 737-MAX8 flight doesn't go over so well on its first day in service.
Southwest's 2nd Max8 flight didn't really go over so well. N8707P operating SWA2 (WN2) from Houston to San Antonio ended up being delayed 4 hours and 3 minutes late due to a mechanical issue on the aircraft. After hours of waiting at the gate and an attempted departure N8707P was switched out for maintenance with a regular 737-800 which completed the flight. As I previously stated 07P had a mechanical fault on its SECOND flight that day. You can see this in the video as well as the tracking data for WN2 that day
Kinda nice that the "old" stuff still works and they had a spare. I don't want to buy, manage or fly the first 50 serial numbers of anything.
S..t happens.
First commercial flight for the aircraft, but NOT its first flight by a about 14 hrs.

The only problem reported was with the KDAL-KHOU flight. Statistically a good start for the Southwest 737-MAX8.
