I love how their pilot uniforms are actually feminine. I can't stand seeing female pilots in the US wearing the male ties and hats. It looks so ridiculous.

Very cool, I already emailed it to my 11 year old daughter!

Excellent, women can do as well and sometimes better than the men, bravo!

I disagree. I don't know why having some people excel is some situations and not others would be unequal. Some women can do things better then some men and some men can do things better then some women I wouldn't consider that unequal. What would be unequal is saying that all men or all women can do things better then the other sex but I don't think that was what Alain was saying.

I guess they don't call the flight deck the cockpit any more - box office maybe?

My Grand Daughter always talks about being a Pilot or Flight Attendant. One look at the Flight Crew and this could be the career field she may choose. We wish her all the best.

Great story! Pilots love to fly, no matter what gender. We need more pilots and if we had as many female pilots as there are male, the world would be a better place all around.

I guess they must think that women are generally inferior, otherwise they wouldn't make such a big deal out of all of it. As long as folks continue to fawn, gush and express stupified amazement at the first women this, or the first black that, then those who do so are the ones who perpetuate the racial and gender divide, and all the while unwittigly insinuate that the feat is so freak'n remarkable that it's almost hard to believe that a woman or a black could do "this" or "that". By now, haven't we demonstrated enough first's for god sakes?!?! Seriously! Or do we have to keep playing this game until a black jewish gay handicapped female with a hair lip is the FIRST to play yankee doodle with arm pit fart sounds before we can once and for all be done with all of this ridiculous "first" nonsense!! Be FIRST to give it a rest!

No kidding!!! The gals have been driving cars, boats, airplanes and everything else for a looooong time now. I guess there is money in "stirring the pot". JJ has done it for decades with the race thing.

Great big deal! I got my "private" in 1971 from a woman instructor. She is up there with the best pilots I ever flew with in my 53 years in aviation.
You go ladies!

Very nice showing that a woman still can fly a plane even though they get those sexist remarks.
