WestJet sells 10 737-700s to Southwest

The first two WestJet 737-700s have been flown to Paine Field (PAE) north of Seattle for conversion into Southwest configuration. A total of ten aircraft will be sold in total. WestJet have recently taken delivery of two new 737-800s with more on the way which will help to make up the difference in seating. WestJet FLN701 C-FWAD and FLN702 C-FWAF have both been flown to PAE with the remaining 7 aircraft to follow. See under “Other Airlines” fleets for updates.
