Rather like a car driving test then. Learn to pass the test, THEN learn to drive.
I wonder what it would do if the engine quit? Attempt to maneuver around the houses/trees or just land straight ahead into a crowd! Can it operate the fuel selector or identify carb icing?
I was wondering how it did on the oral and pre-flight walkaround.
