Going back to RDU?

Seriously?

The worst final on an airplane was on a NorthWest plane coming in to RDU. We were really low, the gear was down, and the plane just suddenly rolled to the right. We were looking almost straight down at the ground. People screamed. The wife glared at me (it wasn't me). And the pilot came on and apologized for that. A bunch of years later, I was talking to a group of pilots, and most of them said they hated RDU because of the unexpected winds that for some reason popped up from time to time. I went through the incident, and most weren't surprised.

So, RDU? *shrug*
