Did Singapore Airlines Just Kill the Airbus A380 Jumbo Jet?
Last week, Singapore Airlines picked Boeing (NYSE: BA) over Airbus (NASDAQOTH: EADSY) for the next stage of its fleet renewal. It signed a letter of intent for 20 777-9s and 19 787-10s Opens a New Window., which should be converted to a firm order soon. Singapore Airlines will also have options for six more of each aircraft type. (www.aviationfigure.com) المزيد...I can only see them for troop carriers or freighters
My flights on the Airbus A380's of Emirates have been nightmares.
Broken overhead air vents and seats that will not latch to name a few problems. Bad quality fittings. I'm not surprised they are going Boeing.

Cabin furnishings are absolutely nothing to do with Airbus (or Boeing). These are supplied by specialist outside companies to the airline's requirements. For the record my several flights on A380s of Singapore Airlines and Emirates have been the best, quietest and smoothest trips I have done on any airliner, bar none.
the fittings and furnishings are what the airline orders not always Airbus supply
