Flight delays, ground stops surge amid staffing crisis
he U.S. air traffic control system is reaching a breaking point as the ongoing government shutdown deepens severe staffing shortages. The Federal Aviation Administration has been forced to implement ground stops and cause flight delays nationwide to maintain safety. This weekend alone, more than 10,000 flights were delayed and 400 were canceled, with major airports like Newark, Dallas, and Atlanta among the hardest hit. Nearly half of all major air traffic control facilities are now… (www.msn.com) More...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
The problem is, regardless of party, politicians are far more concerned with politics than they are concerned with the needs of their constituents.
And yet all it takes is a few democrats to care more about this country and its people than trying to hurt our President to end all of this!!
Isn’t it ironic that our two Federal government shutdowns have both happened during President Trump tenures?
Good grief. Care to lie about anything else?

Shows how much the Dems will do to undermine anything good this president tries to do for our country, doesn't it? There is nothing so terrible about this budget that deserves this treatment the Dems are hurting so many people over! Already cost well over 14 Billion And no telling how many millions of families are suffering simply because of the Dems hate for our President.
the simple fact of the laws of physics is - the most efficient way to move things and people around, is STEEl WHEELS on STEEL RAIL. The most inefficient - most costly - ask anyone like me who owns and operates their own aircraft..! (dont ask the average citizen - they somehow got the idea there is some kind of right to airline service at a cost they can afford (not what it actually costs to operate that seat...!)
Bottom line - do I feel sorry for all those folks caught in the crowds at major airline terminals, (because their Part 121 carriers cant get their necessary IFR clearances...?).
Well...yes I do - we are the only major civilized country on the planet that does not have long distance high speed passenger rail service.
What's the solution? Beats me....I personally could care less - I have my own airplane & an afford to operate it. So long as it isn't IFR, I can (and have) crossed the continent without having to talk to anyone ('cept, of course, unicom calls when the mood suits me or i need something...!)
