Well, I think the correct term is "incursions, not excursions"
I had to reread it after your comment because I thought they meant "incursions" as well. On second look I think they do mean "excursions" since they refer to overrunning or veering off the runway. A runway excursion must mean 'leaving the runway without the benefit of flight'...
