Skywest secures US DoT EAS contract for Pueblo - Denver service

Well, 113 miles into Denver proper via freeway, then 15 miles out to the airport. I can't see the need here except to defeat the price of a hub ticket. If that can't be self supporting, let 'em drive. I don't wanna pay for it.

At least more people will probably fly the SkyWest/UAX flight than are flying the ZK service they currently have.

Probably true, jet vs prop, but to me, given the population density along that I 25 corridor, it just looks like it ought to pay for itself instead of drawing on the government teat

Actually, SkyWest is going to operate it with one of the E-120's they have based in DEN. So only thing they're getting that they don't have now is an FA and a lav.

I still don't think it ought to have to be subsidized. They probably have another one handling Colorado Springs.

Well, Pueblo hadn't ought to be either. I just never have been a fan of that EAS program
