Not good.... I know one thing for sure.. In all the years of working on planes I have never and will never do so. I will also not apologize to a passenger for canceling their flight because the plane is not save.... I did once ask a Captain where he wanted to meet emergency crews after demanded the a/c to fly so he could get his passengers to station... He ended up backing down until we got his plane fixed.
