Air Canada Gets Injunction

I love how the Canadian government refuses to step in on Air Canada spinning off and then removing their heavy maitenance division in favor of exporting the work overseas, at the cost of 2600 jobs because Air Canada is a private company. And despite there being a government act dictating that Air Canada MUST have these maitenance divisions in their specified cities.

Yet when the overworked and poorly treated employees of the afforementioned company strike, the government is quick to act and send everyone back to work. For a private company whose affairs they apparently don't get involved in.

It's sick and wrong no matter how you put it.
