US Sends Nuclear-Capable B-2 Bombers to SKorea

تم الإرسال

The U.S military says two nuclear-capable B-2 bombers have completed a training mission in South Korea amid threats from North Korea that include nuclear strikes on Washington and Seoul. The statement Thursday by U.S. Forces Korea is an unusual confirmation. It follows an earlier U.S. announcement that nuclear-capable B-52 bombers participated in ongoing U.S.-South Korean military drills. (abcnews.go.com) المزيد...

If North Korea wants to strike Washington with nuclear ammo, what are they going to do when the US retaliates and drop a nuclear bomb on them?

Wasn't really paying attention to where the flights originated. I know they're based at Whiteman. Just repeating what I heard (musta' heard wrong). I didn't read the article squawked. You're right though, Mizzou to Korea and back is a loooooong way. I've done Atlanta to Seoul on a KAL 744. Coach.

It was out of Whiteman. I neaver heard and I too know it is a long way, however, they could have went straight over the top(Military don't give a damn about all that ice and desolation like commercial folks do.lol) and cut a lot of that off. That 6hrs does sound a tad shy though, regardless of route.

I think he or she is trying to say that if we go to war with NK it is going to be Armegedon

I hope you don't go to church with that hatred in your heart. The PEOPLE of NK are starving, put into "education" camps etc. What did they ever do to you to deserve what you suggest? Would you have nuked WWII concentration camps because of the Nazi regime? NK will fall on its own. They've already pissed off China by making "development" deals, then turned around and screwed them. Also, does Wesboro Baptist Church represent all Christians? Of course not, so please don't lump fringe muslims together.

Putting the Muslims and all aside, the sad part is that the North Korean leadership put the people in the position they are in as far as the poverty and starving, and sad to say, it is the leadership that will make any military moves. That said, if somebody dies in another nation, there will be some crispy critters as there is no way that collateral damage can be avoided, I don't care how smart your bombs are; to boot, the South Koreans or the Japanese won't give a damn.

Yes it is very sad Preacher. The only knowledge these poor people have is the propaganda they've been subjected to for decades now. Kim Jong Il and now his son Jong Un take all humanitarian aid for themselves, while the people starve. I pray for a peaceful resolution.

You're absolutely right, and their behavior is typical of tyrant dictators. If this kid (supposedly) running NK now does anything stupid like attacking SK or Japan, or God help him the US, it may be the best thing to happen to the citizens of that country in 60+ years, because their freedom will not be long in coming.

I think he might have to worry more about China....They're not to pleased with him right now either....That might just be one war we need to stay out of.

preacher1 1
You are probably correct but if he gets a wild hair to do Japan, SK, or the US, it will be crispy critter time. US might show a tad of restraint, but Japan or SK would not hesitate and not worry a bit about collateral damage. Sensitivity or being humane is not high on the priority list in their vocabulary, I don't think.

Maybe the old Japan but since they were on the receiving end the last time and know the long lasting affects they might show restraint as well....SK is a toss up....From what I heard on the radio today they screwed China over pretty good and they are pretty much already on "ready, set,......"

One thing about it, they are a lot better prepared than they were in '51 and now, they don't have to beg the UN. The US is there and it's to the point that if they fire on SK, they fire on the US. I'm curious to see how restraint there will be

North Korea is no 'paper tiger', warns US official as regime puts rockets on standby

North Korea is “not a paper tiger” and its repeated threats to attack the South Korea and the U.S. should not be dismissed as “pure bluster,” a U.S. official has warned.

On Friday, the isolated communist state put its rocket units on standby to attack U.S. military bases in South Korea and the Pacific, Reuters reported, after two nuclear-capable stealth bombers flew ......
