But I guess it doesn't matter, because he wasn't white.

really dennis? i respect your outrage and opinion, but you would probably die in jail for shooting a federal worker.

as it has been said before, YOU JUST CAN'T FIX STUPID! ...and apparently stupid runs through out the TSA scanners. Well, maybe not through out, but there sure seems to be a lot of reports of this type of stupidity!

Of all the blogs I've seen on the internet concerning the outrage against TSA and the US government, it's seems to me that all this "security" stuff is going to drive Americans to a revolution against it and become more of a threat than Al Qaida. In my opinion, I don't see the Middle East terrorists trying anything again. They've already succeeded in their purposes - instill so much fear into Americans so as to drain their economy through ridiculous security measures.

What weak kneed joint smoker from the 60's allowed that to happen?
Must have been at ORD - O'Hare. The TSA was checking his wallet while
he struggled.

The TSA Agent was doing exactly what he was told to do from his supervisor and or training. Didn't the German Nazi Officers say the same thing at the Nuremburg Trials? Where the hell is COMMON SENSE!

The kids father was a police officer...The level of disrespect shown by the TSA personnel for this situation in particular indicates to me that Screeners are not thinking...they do not have common sense

TSA might be necessary points of entry only...International Airports...this "security" at every other commercial airport in the nation is a serious waist of our money!

I guess to the TSA you're "guilty until proven innocent", instead of the other way around.

All the TSA workers enjoy the little amount of authority they have. Most are cop wanna-be's. They love the ability to control people and tell people what to do. This is nothing more than a bunch of egotistical self centered control freaks.

And now it's making it's way into general aviation, which means the well to do will also be subjected to all the crap from the TSA. We Americans are prisoners in our own country. As Av8nut stated, it is going to drive the Americans into a revolution, not against the TSA, but against the government.

Well, I know it might not seem to make a diffrerence, but email and or call your representative in your district and give them a piece of your mind on this subject. I think it helps, we are the voice of America. Call them, email them. They will get to know you when you often ''visit''. I'll speak for myself here fellow Pilots, but remember they work for us and if there are a lot of complaints then they ''might''do something about it and I feel that when start to be a pain in their rear then they might get it.Safe Flying Only!

While in Vietnam, I remember a 4 year old kid walking up to a squad, in my platoon. The kid had a live grenade...someone just forgot to pull the pin, else it would have been AMF...goes to show ya, no one can be trusted!

Yea, I know all about Vietnam and Iran or any other place with terrorists. But a 4 year old American traveling with his parents, not refusing a search, being told to have his braces removed and to walk on his own after being told he can not do so by the parents, who were not refusing a search is ridiculous. I think the TSA agent was proving to the father, a police officer, who had the power, he the TSA agent or daddy the policeman. Forget about rules this was pure case of whose was bigger.

TSA is there to facilitate the safe and peaceful travel of the flying public. Anyone caught exceeding their authority should be summarily terminated.
