Prayers for the flight crew who were sacrificed.

Ponding this move, if true, by Putin could backfire. Many of Prigozhin's followers could leave the Wagner group. Putin does not have enough citizens to fight the current conflict. According to my cousins on the ground (Ukrainian heritage) many of those supporting Russia are growing tired of this conflict. Many, those captured, have lost hope and don't want to see a long term battle.

This is Putinism: instead of the rule of law, where you would arrest Prigozhin snd charge him with treason, you use terrorist tactics to extrajudicially kill him with absolutely zero consideration for collateral damage.

The only question is was it air-to-air or surface-to-air?

Or a device aboard the aircraft?

I'm sure his jet was intentionally shot down, but there is a question to be answered. Was Prigozhin on that aircraft?

1. Argument for Prighozin being onboard: Putin is tired of dealing with Prighozin. When Putin is tired of someone, he does not really care about collateral casualties, so killing 9 innocents to get the one target means nothing to Putin.

2. Argument for Prighozin not being onboard. A red herring operation. Put a lookalike onboard the jet with the intention of shooting it down to create a believable story of Prighozin being dead. Meanwhile, the real Prighozin is busy in Belarus with his Wagner Group troops and the Belarus army, quietly and secretly preparing them to invade Ukraine. Or perhaps Putin has his sights set on Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia being "repatriated" into his new Russian empire.

10 souls aboard RA-02795, apparently all lost.

Per SkyNews, crew members were
Aleksei Levshin, commander
Rustam Karimov, co-pilot
Kristina Raspopova, flight attendant

... and seven passengers.

BBC has more info on the crew based on reports circulating in Russian media. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-66602757

I don't think this was an accident. I'm surprised Putin let Prigozhin live as long as he did. Killing off 9 other people for the one guy seems extreme, especially the three flight crew.

I don't think Putin cares about collateral damage.

Interesting video. In the first seconds you can see the missile trail up and the impact explosion.

Latest information is that Dmirty Utkin, a Wagner Group commander was also aboard the aircraft

I think Putin read the book "How to start a flood" and adapted the principals to the plane.... the real message here iss don't mess with Putin.
