The plane depicted here is from the 16th FIS, 51st FIW. The "Checker Board tail marking ("Checker Tails") and the Red "Flash" on the Vertical Stabilizer indicates the 16th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, probably out of Osan, South Korea circa 1952-53. I am old so maybe I remembered wrong, but I hope not.

I remember the RAF at LINTON ON OUSE 66 SQN flying the SABRE 1959 very very loud
reminds me of the F-86.
pete, that is a 1952 built F-86F Sabre. the CL-13 was the Canadian built variant
1952 North American F-86F-30-NA Sabre
@sam kuminecz:- yep, FA has a predominant preference for Canadair whenever possible, even though most of that work was under license from other manufactures. Suspect FA just blindly imports the ICAO data
