Pilot is Thom Richard who sadly had his Precious Metal P-51 Mustang burnt on the ground when ferrying to Reno for the Air Races. Good luck Thom on Formula 1.

I wonder if that is the Republic Aviation airfield my dad built planes there for many years.
Does anyone know where the P-40 birds the Hinton's flew in Valkyrie?
Kurt, yes it is. It is (or was) owned by American Airpower Museum. Thom is the regular flier of this wonderful aircraft. I think he has hangared it and flies it from his airfield in Kissimmee.
