Not that his statement isn't true, but let's not overlook the fact that Air Lease Corp makes money from leasing aircraft to customers who wouldn't otherwise be able to get them for years because the waiting lists are so long. Their business model relies in part on the scarcity of new aircraft.
I didn't realize having a backlog of work was a bad thing. I guess they would prefer having no work and be forced to lay off people?
I'm not seeing "max capacity" in that many of the suppliers I deal with. For what that's worth.
