Love this photo!! Great shot!!
At first, I thought the wind sock in the background was damage to the wingtip.
Looks like port side engine failed or shut down.
Due to weather, they were unable to land on the Charles De Gaulle aircraft carrier. This news story doesn't mention a flameout.
