Thanks all! chughset, it was taken from the top of the Terminal 4 garage looking southbound. That spot in the winter gives some interesting lighting, as the sun is to the south, so the planes are backlit on 25R/7L and 25L/7R. But, I actually really like the way that the colors turn out after cranking the shadows and contrast up in Lightroom with this lighting, so I tend to go to this spot the most.

Nothing like the USA colors.

When pricing tickets, Southwest must have a 'cost of paint' line item in their costing formula.

I'd love to see a video of a paint job like that, from start to finish!

The airlines rarely get the design balance right between a special livery and the corporate brand; it always looks piecemeal.

This one on the other hand is spot-on, really fantastic........... it really is a great design and application.

Chris. Excellent spotting can happen from the top of the T4 garage. I'm a horrible photographer, but I do make a point of getting to the airport early so I can watch some activity.... whether picking up or dropping off or flying myself, it is always fun to watch the operations.
