Hateful aircraft!
Why?
I think the Honda jets are cool!
Compact little plane let's say,I like it.
I guess that making cars is boring...on to the next thing!

is there any particular advantage to mounting the engines on above-wing pylons vs at the tail (like a DC9/Caravelle/Ba111. yes... I date myself) If there is, ...
maybe mount them forward of the wing to get fast airflow over the wing - a little like a blown flap or some of the early MD C17 prototypes.

dont have to run fuel lines thru the airframe, my guess.
The advantage to the OWEM is less noise and vibration transferred to the fuselage and there's more room in the cargo area since there's no mounting beam running through it either. It's very quiet inside the cabin.
