D-Day stripes?

Is the U.S.air force insignia appropriate alongside the D-day stripes..??

according to the pilot and mechanic here is the symbolism of the markings...

-black represents the cape of protection the armed forces protect us with
-metallic flake in black represent stars in which represent all the warriors who have died for us
-generic stars and bars represent all armed forces which flew to protect us
-chrome is polished like a mirror in which we can look into the reflection and see who the military protects (you)
-D day stripes represent the Dday invasion
