VICKERS Viscount (G-AOJC)

I left the UK in 1968 and have to admit to not being very familiar with the colour schemes shown here on the V802 Viscount or on the V953 Merchantman taxying behind. Can anyone please tell me the years these colour schemes were in use

Well, the main gear is in the process of coming up on this gorgeous Viscount, so the retraction sequence has commenced, but that is about all I can tell you Alan. My airline actually flew Viscounts for many years but they were all grounded by 1971 due to structural issues. I always loved the pencil thin Dart four engined nacelle shape! I flew the twin Dart F27.
