I was sitting next to the boom operator on a KC-10
Amazing were you/are you in the Airforce ?
I was in the Navy during the Vietmam War. Then 29 years in the FAA doing ATC stuff. The Air Force came by one day and said they could take 3 of us on a KC-10 ride. Along I went. Two of us sat next to boom operator and one roomed the plane. About every 30 minutes we swapped out positions.
