Alaska Airlines is marking the 50th anniversary of Alaska statehood with a 'We're all pulling together' scheme applied to this Boeing 737-400 (N705AS, dubbed 'Spirit of Alaska Statehood'). The winning design in a statewide 'Paint the Plane' contest was created by 16-year-old Hannah Hamberg from Sitka. Aviation Technical Services of Everett, Washington, completed the complicated 21-color painting process, which took 14 days.
