BOEING 767-200 (N604TW) - KSFO - 28L arrival for this TWA 767-2 on a late summer evening before the fog rolls in from the California coast. Boeing CN:22567 LN:30. Delv February 1983. I do not know where this jet was arriving from, time slot may be 7-8:00PM photo date apprx mid-late 1980s. Airfleets shows this as VP-CME- unsure if still flying or not. Celestron C-90 1000mm lens at SFO.hand held, slight blur.air brushed cleaned the slide before rephoto...sorry on the dust,

This shot and the L-1011 pic really remind me of how much I miss seeing TWA in the skies. All ***** for the memories, T.

I miss TWA, as well. But it isn't entirely gone! I got a phone call the other day from a company, and the caller ID said: Trans World Airline. The company calling was not an airline. So, I don't know what that's all about. Anyway... ;-)

Thanks Gman! Agreed, we used to see back to back TWA heavies on a daily basis. I sure would like to see a 777-300ER in these colors globetrotting now a days...
