I was living in Long Beach, CA very near the airport when Alaska was flying these 727's. They had a flight that took off at 7AM heading for Seattle every day. I never had to set my alarm clock. This plane would rattle all my windows. I was so relieved when they replaced the 727 with the MD80. I could sleep past 7.
