Embraer A-27 Tucano (N474VK) - This photo is a "companion" shot to the picture I posted a few days ago of the Valkyrie Aero Tucano (N474VK - see * NOTE below).br /I'm posting this to show the rear seat cockpit area -- and I specifically focused on the weapons selector buttons and the weapons firing buttons on the stick. It was a little difficult to get this snap because there was both bright sunlight and deep shadows in the cockpit. Also, it was hard to get sharp focus on everything because the cockpit was so small and I was trying to adjust for the two extremes of lighting, so I gave most of my effort to the weapons selector and stick.br /br /* NOTE: The aircraft reg shown on the control panel is now incorrect. Prior to being reregistered as N474VK, this Tucano was indeed registered N474MT. This is the sibling to the aircraft I captured in a previous photo (posted in this gallery) when it was at RNO about 3 years ago with the N484MT registration.

Hundo & a mentor >> TYVM to both of you. Hundo, there is a larger copy of this same pic coming to you. Being larger, it allows you to get a more concise and detailed look. It is a tight squeeze getting in to this cockpit but I'm betting any pilots out there would be thrilled to go up in this Tucano. I'm not a pilot; in fact, I have absolutely no aviation training or aviation-related work experience, but I was stoked just being given the guided tour of it. @ a mentor ... Do you have an email addy? If so and if you wish to receive photos (occasionally) that I don't post here on FA, do not reply here .... just e/m to [email protected] I won't be visiting your area quite as soon as I'd anticipated thanks to the lockdown in your state, but I still intend to get there. Great pic. Nothing really hidden in the shadows.
