Tim I think your right...looks like a unstable aircraft...guessing not good in crosswind landings...need a magnifying glass to find the rudder

Well, if the lift exceeds weight then surely it will fly....
I saw this airplane at Flabob airport in Riverside CA as a kid in 1950’s
