Beautiful! Seen in Daily Newsletter!
40+ years in service and still a pretty baaad airplane ! I was reading up a bit on its history, didn't realize this :
"In service with all nations the F-15 has an air-to-air combat record of 104 kills to 0 losses as of February 2008. The F-15's air superiority versions, the A/B/C/D models have not suffered any losses to enemy action.[84][85][3] Over half of F-15 kills were achieved by Israeli Air Force pilots."
BTW does that nose wheel look flat to anybody else ? Maybe its in a little divot, or obscured partially by what appears to be a slight hump in the pavement....IDK...
