Cirrus SR-22 (N1281F)
At Ocracoke Island (W95) hours before the fatal crash. So sad.

Per Cirium: On Sept. 28, 2024 this 2023 Cirrus SR22, registered to Pantheon Aviation LLC, was destroyed by impact and post-impact fire when it apparently struck trees and subsequently crashed in a wooded area, some 165 meters short of Runway 21 at First Flight Airport, Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. The aircraft appears to have been on its second approach before the crash. The accident happened in daylight (about 1718L) and in VMC. The aircraft was operating a flight from Dare County Regional Airport, Manteo, North Carolina. All five occupants were killed.
