Boeing 747-400 (TC-ACF)

Per Cirium: October 20, 2025 this 1993 Boeing 747-481, operated by Air ACT on behalf of Emirates SkyCargo, apparently lost directional control during the landing roll on Runway 07L at Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong. The aircraft subsequently veered off the left side of the runway, broke through the airport perimeter fence and collided with an airport patrol vehicle reportedly located on a coastal patrol road outside the runway boundary fence. The impact pushed the patrol vehicle into the sea, and the aircraft itself came to rest partially submerged in the waters off the northern perimeter of the airport, about 230 meters from the runway centerline. The fuselage fractured into two sections, with the rear portion separating and the forward fuselage partially afloat, with debris and floating wreckage visible nearby. All four flight crew reportedly escaped from the aircraft and were uninjured. The two airport security officers in the patrol car were reportedly both killed. The accident happened in darkness (0352L) but in VMC, with wind 020° at 18 kt, visibility 10 km, few clouds at 3,000 ft, temperature 27C and dew point 20C. The aircraft was operating scheduled cargo flight EK9788 from Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, although no cargo was reportedly onboard.
