This is the WEST VIRGINIA Air National Guard (thus the WVA ANG designator on the a/c) P-51. I've driven past this aircraft countless times going to/from KCRW.

"Toulouse Nuts". LOLLLL
was frequently seen with 909, but will never be again; sigh
Why TOULOUSE??????????
Serge, when a pilot has a dumb squawk, the mechanics sometimes say, "the Nut Behind the Wheel is Loose"
In this case, there are two pilots, hence Toulouse Nuts behind the wheel. :)

Two Loose Nuts? :o)
I too drove by this airplane manytimes on my way up to or down from KCRW. Does anyone know the location of this airplane today or its FAA registration number? Does anyone remember the cream colored P-51 at CRW in the early 1960’s. Witha sigle red stripe down each side.
