This C97G is currently located at the Chanute Air Museum. It started life as a C97G built by Boeing in Seattle on 28 Sept. 1953 and was assigned to the 376th Bombardment Wing however later in life it became a KC97 and assigned to the 379th Air Refuling Squadron both part of SAC. The origional tail number was 52898. My thanks to the Chanute Air Museum Curator (Dan) for providing the detailed information.
