Interesting photo. First time I have seen a crop duster fitted with floats and used for fire fighting. It seems a great combination of uses.

Alan Brown, it's known as a Fire Boss, a converted Air Tractor AT-802 on Wipline 1000 floats.
It can carry 820 US gallons of water with an option of a 35 gallon gel tank in each float.
It refills the water tank by lowering pick up probes while skimming on the water, it can also refill on land like other Air Tankers.
Very effective for initial attack and on small fires near a water resource it can reload from.

Hard to believe it can handle that much weight, but it seems to work!
