Certainly an interesting time in Perth for awhile at least. At the moment all we get here in Adelaide is a few Qantas, a handful of Virgin, and the odd Jetstar, and a few commuters.

Gavin Hughes, it was quite an event, a number of spotters gathered. I don't think we get away with that number of people in one place today.

Hi Kurt, as long as each individual maintained the appropriate separation, in THEORY you should get away with a few groups of 10 unless WA has more severe restrictions. That said though, I don't know how much area you have in your spotting places. Except for one place here (Adelaide), our spotting sites would be pushing to get more than 2 groups of 10 with proper separation. Stay safe and enjoy what you can.

Hi Gavin. You lot are still OK, mate. Across the pond here in SA we are not allowed to leave home. If we are caught beyond the boundaries of our property (unless for essential medical or other essential reason), it's an immediate fine and a month in the lock-up. Besides which, all airports are closed anyway, so there is no traffic to go snap !!

Yes Viv, thankfully we aren't locked in but it got serious here in the other SA (Sth Aus that is) two days ago when 6 Qantas baggage handlers tested positive, resulting in a reported 100 Qantas staff being prevented from working. QF still flying but I don't know where they got baggage handlers from. Maybe Virgin staff that have been laid off(?), but then there's still the QF baggage handling areas including inside the passenger terminal. The terminal beyond security is also restricted now to only travellers and workers. No going inside to take photos, but there's sweet FA to photograph anyway.
